The annual Live Well Advance Conference and School Summit is pausing for 2026. This year we are excited to continue our partnership with the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) to powerfully connect our region’s community and education sectors at the Thriving Communities Summit on November 17^th, 2026. This gathering continues our shared mission of elevating wellbeing through community schools and improving outcomes for the whole child and every person in every community.

Although some elements may look different, the focus remains on creating a dynamic, collaborative learning environment that supports healthy, safe, and thriving children, families, and communities. Together, we can continue strengthening the connections between programs, services, and school communities.

Will there be a conference App and do I need to download it?

Yes! We’re excited to offer a dedicated mobile app for the Live Well Advance Conference & School Summit. The app is your all-in-one tool for a seamless conference experience, allowing you to personalize your experience, connect with fellow attendees, receive real-time notifications, and much more. For the best conference experience, we highly recommend downloading and using the app. Detailed instructions on how to access the app are available on the Conference App page (coming soon!).

How will I get my ticket?

Location and Parking

Getting there:

MTS Trolley - With two stops in front of the Convention Center, the MTS Trolley is a convenient public transportation option for getting to the Convention Center. See this overview of how to take the Trolley and plan your trip at sdmts.com.

Taxi and Rideshare - Arriving at the convention center, you'll want to be dropped off at Exhibit Hall C - the conference is on the second floor. If you’re departing from the convention center, a Guest Services or Security representative will be happy to flag you a taxi.

Train - If you're coming from North County San Diego, skip the traffic and take the NCTD COASTER to Santa Fe Depot in Downtown San Diego. From there, it's easy to hop on the MTS trolley (Green Line) or catch a bus for a quick ride to the San Diego Convention Center. It's a convenient and scenic way to get to the event!

Driving - All registered attendees will receive a complimentary parking pass before the event. The pass can be easily accessed by downloading the Event App and shown at the Convention Center parking garage upon arrival. A print option will also be available. Additional details will be shared closer to the event to ensure a smooth arrival experience.

Can I register the day of the event?

We highly recommend registering for the Live Well Advance & School Summit ahead of time online. This event sells out early every year. While we strive to accommodate as many attendees as possible, day-of registration is not guaranteed due to capacity restrictions.

To secure your spot and ensure you don’t miss out on this valuable experience, we encourage you to register early. Once tickets are sold out, there will be a waitlist option.

What is the dress code?

Can I bring a guest to the conference?

Can I take my own video of the Conference?

Attendees are welcome to take video during optional events, networking sessions, and non-educational portions of the conference. However, to ensure a focused and respectful learning environment, we kindly ask that no video recording be done during keynote or educational sessions.

There are no restrictions on photography, but we encourage attendees to be mindful of courtesy and appropriate timing when taking photos. Please respect the privacy and preferences of other participants.

Can I send a substitute in my place?

Yes, as a registered attendee of the Live Well Advance & School Summit, you will receive regular email updates leading up to the conference. Meals and Breaks

Am I able to get a copy of the attendee list?

The attendee list will be accessible through the conference app. You’ll be able to view and connect with fellow attendees who have opted to participate. However, please note that some attendees may choose to opt out of being listed on the app, so their information will not be available.

We respect the privacy preferences of all participants, and the app provides a convenient and secure way to network with those who are open to connecting.
