RACE DAY DETAILS
The 5K will start at 7:30 a.m. and racers will be sent in waves to reduce crowding on the course.
There is a 1-hour time limit to complete the 5K and no late starters will be allowed.
There will be course guides along the route, and a water station and restrooms near mile two.
The 5K is a timed event. The back of the 5K bib numbers will have an affixed sticker which is the timing device and should not be removed. The timing device starts to record each racer’s time once they cross the start line.
For everyone’s safety, we ask any 5K participants who are walking, pushing a stroller, or using a mobility device to NOT line up in the front of the 5K race staging area. Please allow for runners to start in the first few waves by staging toward the back of the start line area.
We also ask that if you are passing anyone using a stroller or mobility device to please be mindful of the space they may need around them, especially in the tighter corridors of the race. Course volunteers will be standing by throughout the race course to assist anyone as needed.
