Check Your Mood Quick Screening
ABOUT THE QUICK SCREENING
The Check Your Mood 2-question self-assessment, officially known as the Patient Health Questionnaire-2 (PHQ-2), is a quick tool to help you see if you might be experiencing symptoms of depression. It's not meant to diagnose or track the severity of depression but to help you recognize symptoms early and seek support if needed.
What are the common signs of depression?
- Persistent sad, anxious, or “empty” mood
- Difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, or sleeping more than usual
- Reduced or increased appetite
- Unintended weight gain or loss
- Loss of pleasure and interest in once-enjoyable activities
