Read Your Beats 2024

Community members are invited to monitor their blood pressure and know their numbers. The Read Your Beats program is a partnership with libraries throughout San Diego County to promote heart health and provide access to FREE blood pressure screenings. Participating libraries have unstaffed resource tables available during open hours, allowing any member of the community to self-assess their blood pressure.

Participants are also encouraged to complete a brief  evaluation form  to share their experience using the blood pressure monitoring device and may be eligible to receive an incentive.

Learn to read your heart rhythm to prevent heart disease and stroke. Visit one of the participating libraries below to take your blood pressure and receive educational materials about heart health!
