Telebriefings
K-12 Sector telebriefings are held on the 1st Tuesday of every month from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. This meeting will be conducted completely online. We encourage you to submit your questions 24 hours before the telebriefing so that they can be answered on the call.

The Education Sector hosted a Community Schools Panel in April 2024. Panelists shared about what community schools are, described their experiences and lessons learned, and addressed audience questions. Check out the Questions & Answers and the SDCOE Community Schools website to learn more.
School Ventilation
Our team partnered with the California Department of Public Health to host school ventilation trainings in December 2023. Watch the recorded training and site walkthrough to learn about the importance of ventilation for student health and wellbeing, and practical tips for improving air quality in schools.

San Diego County Office of Education
The San Diego County Office of Education plays an essential role in supporting the Education Sector. They provide a variety of services for the 42 districts, 129 charter schools, and five community college districts in the county.
School Infectious Disease Prevention & Response
The School Infectious Disease Prevention and Response Program promotes disease prevention and awareness of child and adolescent diseases through education, outreach, and support services.
